World Upholstery & Trim manufactures custom-fit seat covers to replace the worn-out or damaged upholstery of your seats. These seat covers are sold in kits and allows for the complete replacement of the original upholstery in your front or rear seats. We also offer reproductions of the original seat pads (sold separately) found inside the seat covers.

The pre-sewn seat covers are designed for easy installation and will not require sewing of any kind. The seat kits do not include any other seat parts like seat pads, seat frame and other miscellaneous hardware. Those parts must be re-used, fixed or replaced during installation. The seat covers are designed to be installed on original seat parts and thus for best results, it may be necessary to fix or replace worn out or damaged seat parts especially the old seat pads that are almost guaranteed to have shrunk or damaged due to use and time.

These seat kits can easily be installed by an amateur restorer. But due to other factors, like removal of the old seat upholstery and possible replacement or re-padding of the old seat pads, we still highly recommend the use of professional installers. These kits are "made-to-order" meaning we do not keep them in stock and are placed in the production line only when an order is placed. Depending on how busy the production line is (varies seasonaly), it can take 7-10 business days before it can be manufactured and shipped. Make sure to add shipping time when calculating the number of days it will take for the seat kit to reach you.

These front seat kits includes all the seat cover parts necessary to completely replace the original seat upholstery of both front seats. The headrest covers and back panel covers are included (if applicable). These seat kits can be manufactured using either BMW Vinyl or BMW Leather. Basketweave embossing are on the vinyl as per original.

The easiest way to distinguish the early model (1975-1979) from the late model (1979-1983) is by the number of pleats. 6 pleats w/ single stitch for the early models and 4 pleats w/ double stitch for late ones. Both standard seats have vertical pleats as compared to the sports seat that has horizontal pleats.

Like the standard front seats, the rear seats have an early (1975-1979) and late (1979-1983) versions. There are no sports version of the rear seat. Instead cars with sports seats use the late model style rear seats. These rear seat kits includes all the seat cover parts necessary to completely replace the original seat upholstery of the rear seats and, like the front seats, the vinyl version have the appropriate embossing. The rear seats did not have headrests. These seat kits can be manufactured using either BMW Vinyl or BMW Leather.

The symmetric front seat pads used in late model (1975-1976) E10s were the same seat pads used for the entire life span of the BMW E21. Both the backrest and cushion seat pads will fit in either the left or right front seat. There are currently no seat pads available for the rear seats.
