The Mercedes-Benz W113 was a 2-seater convertible that replaced 2 legends: the 190SL (W121) and the 300Sl (W198).
They were produced from 1963 to 1971 and is usually referred to as the "Pagoda" due to the distinct shape of the hard-top.
A little under half of them were sold in the United States and even had a 4-seater version called the "California Coupe".
The area were the soft-top is was replaced by a bench seat instead. Models include: 230SL, 250SL, and the 280SL.
The W113 was among the first to make the Mercedes Texturized (MB-Tex) Vinyl as standard upholstery.
It was vinyl, thus less expensive, but had the feel of leather. Leather became optional. World Upholstery and Trim
has convenient interior packages that allow you the restore the entire interior of your Pagoda in both MB-Tex and German Leather.

The 1974 model year brought significant changes in the Porsche 911 series of cars and this includes the interior portion of it.
Primarily is the introduction of the "built-in headrest" style of front seats that didn't change much up to the end of the 964
series in 1994. While there were many changes from 1974 to 1994, they were not major enough that it is easy to catergorize all
these 911's from 1974 to 1994 into one group. As long as we have the correct year and body type of the 911 and ask the right
questions, World Upholstery & Trim is able to put together a convenient interior package kit that allows you to restore or even
change the color of the interior of your classic Porsche 911. A complete interior kit includes: Front & Rear Seat Covers, Door
Panels, Dash Recover Kit, Carpet Set, Rear Quarter & Rear Wall Panels (Coupes & Targas Only) and Headliner (Coupes & Targas
Only). As always, anything related to the soft top, including boot covers, are sold separately.
- Front & Rear Seat Covers (Leather or Vinyl)
- Door, Rear Quarter & Rear Wall/Tray Panels (Leather or Vinyl)
- Dash Recovery Kit (Leather or Vinyl)
- Interior Carpet Set, Sliverknit
- Headliner Kit, Perforated Vinyl
The coupes, targas and cabriolets used the same seats depending on the year of the car. There were only 3 generations of
standard and sports front seats, and all the rear seats were small foldable seats. They also used the same door panels but only
the coupes and targas had rear quarter and rear wall panels. Cabriolets just had carpet on the rear area. The upholstery needed
to recover the dash, did not change at all from 1974 to 1994. 1974 was also the year that Porsche started using Sliverknit for
the carpet of the 911. While there are many changes with the carpet, we have all the patterns and as long as we know the year
and model of the car, then we can make the correct carpet set for you. The headliner for the coupes were made in perforated
vinyl while the targa had black foam-backed cloth.
The "Fintail" (W111/W112) coupes and cabriolets, as the top of the line cars in their class in its time, were only
upholstered in leather whether it's the seats, panels, dash and other miscellaneous trim. Wool and wool blend
carpet were also used and some coupes even used wool headliners. As very valuable cars, we highly recommend to
stick with what's original. World Upholstery and Trim, with it's focus on "authentic reproductions", makes sure
that's exactly what you get. We offer convenient complete interior kits that offers most of what you need:
front and rear seat covers, door panels, rear panels, kick panels, carpet, headliners (coupes), top well kit
(cabriolets) and boot covers (cabriolets). For cabriolets, all parts related to the soft top are
sold separately.
