Part of enjoying all of the comfort and advantages of luxurious leather is making sure that it gives you years and years of good service. No other trim material is as durable, as convenient and as easy to care for as leather.

We would like to share with you our advice on leather care.

Leather can typically be regularly cleaned by simply washing it with a mild soap using a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water. But we suggest that every few months you give it an extra cleaning to maintain the leather's smell, durability, resiliency and color.

We suggest the use of Gliptone Leather Cleaner. Gliptone Leather Cleaner is available wherever leather care products are sold. It is also available directly from World Upholstery, by calling (800) 222-9577.

Avoid using any harsh household cleaning products, especially ammonia solvents, or rubber, vinyl and plastic cleaners on leather as they will likely damage the finish. The color and finish of your leather has been painstakingly developed to ensure that it will retain its attractive appearance.

Leather's surface has natural pores and crevices in which particles of dirt and other matter can collect. Cleaning the surface regularly will reduce this effect and help prolong the life of the leather.

Conditioning leather provides three basic benefits:

Leather is typically finished with coatings which protect the surface from the perils of the sun's damaging rays as well making it resistant to soiling.
